What Have I Been Up To?

Just in case you were wondering this is what I've been up to lately.

I've been getting my craft on!
I made 2 scarfs and sent them to the Ohio Special Olympics Scarf Program.  Volunteers make and send them to the state of your choice, then the Special Olympics distribute them to the Olympians.
I made a Sock Monkey Blankie and Hat for a special NEW family member.  (Don't look Sandy and Adam, it is in the mail on it's way to you)
This is a beautiful table runner that I made, it has ribbon running through it.  Look for it in my Etsy Shop
This is a afghan that I am making for a friend at work.  She started it then I volunteered offered to help her out and make it for her.  I just love the colors, now I have promised to make and send 1 like it to Tom in Ohio.
.....and did I mention that I am moving?  By next weekend I will be all moved in with Dawn and her family.
So, that's what I've been up to!

  1. Aunt Carolyn, you should have warned me not to look, you know I always read your blog, LOL! Love the blanket and hat though, can't wait, thank you!!

  2. It's so cool that you have this talent! It's good to have a creative outlet. Wish I could think of one for me! :)

  3. I figured you were still busy moving, since I hadn't seen you post. Wow, with all that excitement you were able to get all those crafts done. You must be wonder woman. Glad to see you are back and look forward to seeing your new room at your daughters.

  4. Hi Carolyn, I love your afghan, you are so talented! Thank you for the lovely comments and for following my blog. I am returning the favor and will be checking back in on your new projects.

    1. Carolyn, you have been very busy. I love all of the items you made wish I could do that. Can't wait to see new pictures from Dawns! Sure you will love being able to be so close to your grandchildren...Take care and I will check in again....

    2. Thanks for stopping by Katherine. I taught myself to crochet when I was about 13 and have loved it ever since. I am loving being with my grandchildren...they made me a huge "Welcome home Mamaw" sign. My granddaughter is 9 and loves crafts as much or more than I do. She is teaching herself how to crochet also....I don't have the patience for very long to help her. LOL Stop back by and become a follower.

  5. Well aren't you talented!

    Hope the move went well!
    Kendra :o)

    1. The move went fine. Thanks for stopping by, I am a follower of yours and I would love to have you follow me. I love crocheting! I always have a project or 2 or 3 going at all times. It is my therapy, not sure if I am saving money or not. LOL Love your posts you are quite funny.

  6. I'd like to invite you to join me at the Clever Chicks Blog Hop this week!

I hope to see you there!
